Question: What made you want to create Gun Blast Vegas?

I did create Gun Blast Vegas when a friend took me shooting in the desert. At this time I did not know much about firearms, so I had no idea what to expect, but I really enjoyed the experience and wanted to learn more.
After that, I visited several indoor rangers. Most of the time, nobody really explained what I was doing or how the firearms worked. It felt like the goal was just to empty the magazines, take a few pictures, and leave.
So, unfortunately, I often left frustrated.I saw that we could really create something more meaningful. Gun Blast Vegas was designed for people who want to learn, be properly guided, and experience the desert without feeling like just another number.

I wanted it to feel like your cousin from Las Vegas was taking you into the desert to discover shooting for the first time.

HOW IT BEGAN

How Gun Blast Vegas Started

Gun Blast Vegas began after founder Vincent Brunet went shooting in the Nevada desert with a friend. Coming from France, Vincent knew almost nothing about firearms at the time. The experience surprised him, sparked his curiosity and made him want to learn more.

He later visited several traditional indoor shooting ranges, but often felt that something was missing. There was little time to understand how the firearms worked, ask questions or receive personal guidance. The experience could feel focused on firing the ammunition, taking a picture and moving on.

Vincent believed a shooting experience could be more personal and meaningful. He spent several years training, studying and earning his firearms instructor certifications in the United States. In 2018, he founded Gun Blast Vegas to give visitors the kind of experience he had been looking for: professional instruction, small groups, genuine hospitality and the freedom of the Nevada desert.

From Las Vegas Tourism to Firearms Instruction

That experience gave Vincent a deep understanding of what international visitors expect when choosing a Las Vegas activity: clear organization, personal attention, genuine hospitality and an experience worth remembering after they return home.

Vincent Brunet has been creating visitor experiences in Las Vegas since 2013. Before founding Gun Blast Vegas, he operated a destination management company that designed custom leisure and business trips for European travelers and VIP clients.

Creating Las Vegas experiences since 2013

Vincent later trained and earned his firearms instructor certifications in the United States. Since then, he has introduced thousands of shooters from around the world to firearms, including many complete beginners.

His approach combines both sides of his professional background. Firearms knowledge provides the technical foundation, while years of working with visitors help him understand people, adapt his explanations and create an experience that feels welcoming, professional and personal.

Question: How did someone from France who knew almost nothing about firearms become an instructor in the United States?

I became an instructor here in the US because when I arrived from France, I knew almost nothing about firearms. I really started as a complete beginner.
When I decided to create this experience, I realized something very simple. If I wanted to teach people, I first had to learn. So, I trained, studied, and earned my certifications here in the US. That process took several years.
Being a beginner myself helped me to understand what first time shooters fear. Over time, I built my own method.
So, today it’s not only about teaching technique. It’s also about reading people, understanding their personality, and finding the right balance between instruction, fun, and safety.

Question: Is there a moment when you can tell that a nervous guest has started to feel confident?

Usually a nervous guest starts to feel confident just after the first gun, which is always a 9 mm handgun. Before the first shot, people imagine a lot of noise and recoil.
Then they fire a few rounds with the instructor beside them and they realize that they can manage it. We don’t rush them and there is nobody behind them saying, “Come on, go go go.” You can see the change in their face and in their body. Their shoulders relax. They start smiling and they become curious about the next firearm.
That’s normally the moment when fear begins to turn into confidence. And if they want to continue, of course, we’re going to move step by step from the 9 mm to larger firearms and much more powerful calibers always at their own pace.
That’s part of the excitement. They can feel themselves progressing.

OUR APPROACH

A Shooting Experience Built Around People

Gun Blast Vegas was designed around a simple principle: a memorable shooting experience begins with the person, not the firearm. Every guest arrives with a different level of experience, confidence and curiosity, so the instructor adapts the pace, explanations and encouragement to the individual.

TIME

Small Groups Create More Time

Gun Blast Vegas keeps its groups small so instructors can answer questions, provide individual coaching and help each guest progress at a comfortable pace. The additional time benefits complete beginners as well as experienced shooters who want to improve their technique or discover a different way to shoot.

CONFIDENCE

Clear Guidance Builds Confidence

Safety remains the foundation of every Gun Blast Vegas session. Instructions are delivered calmly and clearly, while the firearms, equipment and range are continually monitored in the background. This professional structure helps guests listen, feel confident and enjoy the experience without creating an unnecessarily tense atmosphere.

CONNECTION

Human Connection Makes It Memorable

Gun Blast Vegas is not designed as a quick, transactional range visit. Guests spend several hours with their instructor and group, giving people time to talk, laugh and encourage one another. Visitors may arrive as strangers, but they often leave sharing photographs, stories and memories from the Nevada desert.

Why Gun Blast Vegas Chose the Nevada Desert

Gun Blast Vegas operates at a private outdoor range near Goodsprings, Nevada, approximately 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. The desert is not simply the backdrop for the experience. Its open space, mountain scenery and sense of escape are part of what makes the day memorable.

Choosing an outdoor setting was also personal for founder Vincent Brunet. He enjoys hiking, spending time outside and discovering Nevada with his family. Creating an experience in the desert felt more natural than building another indoor shooting range.

The private outdoor environment gives Gun Blast Vegas the space to use reactive targets and offer experiences such as the walk-and-shoot in a dedicated, controlled area. It also creates responsibilities beyond firearm safety. The team collects spent brass, removes waste and continually monitors heat, weather and wildfire conditions to help protect the land.

The Nevada desert is not just where the experience happens. It is part of the experience.

GUN BLAST VEGAS TODAY

From One Guest to Thousands of Shooters

The first Gun Blast Vegas tour welcomed one guest and began with a clear idea: create a personal, professionally guided shooting experience in the Nevada desert. That first guest enjoyed the day and left a positive review. One guest led to another, recommendations followed, and Gun Blast Vegas grew organically one experience at a time.

Since 2018, Gun Blast Vegas has welcomed thousands of shooters from around the world.

The company has grown, but the original promise remains the same: small groups, personal guidance, professional instruction and a memorable experience in the Nevada desert. Gun Blast Vegas continues to develop new shooting experiences without losing the human approach that shaped the business from its first tour.
